This year, for the tenth time, we are organising the Auer Festival in Veszprém in honour of the world-famous violinist and music educator Leopold Auer, who was born in Veszprém. The goal of the organising Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra is to bring to the picturesque, historic town of Veszprém those artists who are key figures in the international classical music scene and perform in the world's most prestigious concert halls. The festival’s resident orchestra is traditionally the organising Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra. The programme is extremely diverse: from chamber music to orchestral evenings to world music and folk music concerts, music lovers can find a wide variety of performances, ensuring an experience of a lifetime.
