This year, we are organizing the Auer Festival in Veszprém for the 11th time, in honor of the world-renowned violinist and music educator Leopold Auer, who was born in Veszprém. The event is hosted by the Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra, whose aim is to bring to this picturesque, historic city artists who are key figures in the international classical music scene and who regularly perform in the world’s most prestigious concert halls.

The festival’s resident ensemble is traditionally the organizing Mendelssohn Chamber Orchestra. The program offers remarkable diversity—from chamber music and orchestral evenings to world music and folk-inspired concerts, providing unforgettable experiences for music lovers from all walks of life.
